I am not really interested in parlor tricks. If they want to deliver, they should deliver something better than DLSS. And I was considering Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Have to postpone this now.

So it is enabled per game exclusive profile and driver related? Installing latest drivers and awaiting expanding support? Interesting. New gpus seems to have even more features from now on to gain by being up to date. Perhaps a strong step to stop users searching archived packages. 😀

Upscaling ftl ! I'll never freaking ever use upscaling, then I'd might aswell buy a console. 4k + downsampling is the shizzle.

Why is that then? Senua's Sacrifice is a truly superb game and DLSS is hardly obligatory in order to play it. It's just a setting you can turn on or off like all other settings.

Well then, it needs to be implemented into every game. That way you won't need to buy anything anymore. Huge savings!

Doesn't RTX require the new upcoming October version of Windows to run? If so there is going to be a lot of confusion when the new cards ship.

the DLSS profiles get downloaded through geforce experience, so you need this and an nvidia account.. clever way to push another piece of nvidia software. -andy-

I can't see them making it available for older versions, it's become part of their marketing strategy to force the latest builds if you want to play certain games or like now, use the features of your GPU.

Is this crap only for Nvidia cards now, is it open source in any way?

if its better than other SS methods that are currently in use... what is the problem? these new cards look more and more yummy by the day.

Problem is for Amd owners. Looks even worse compare to nVidia. XD

Hmm, DLSS/AA/Upscaling/Increased Performance. If you've got a 4K monitor, then I'd assume image quality is of paramount importance to you (by definition), so I don't really see why such users would want a somewhat inferior upscaled image (albeit with increased framerate), otherwise they'd have a 1080p monitor I guess! For the AA side of DLSS, depends how good it is at removing jaggies without creating blur - this could be the best thing about DLSS from where I see it.
