Son's of Bitch's. I have this awesome caselabs case laying around in my house, and no way to utilize it. so depressing. I guess that's what i get for blowing my load too early on computer hardware.

So if they are still releasing new IB CPU's through the entire of 2013 then where will Haswell fit in? I have been waiting for that instead of upgrading my current rig to a z77 board and a 3770K due to the problems a lot of people are facing with the heat issues.... I might as well just upgrade to X79 then? Actually here a question I haven't looked up much about Haswell yet, will it be an X79 based chip or will they release yet another new board chipset something like the X89 maybe? If its compatible with X79 I might just upgrade now to X79 and get myself a 3930K then maybe see how much better Haswell is if it supports the same chipset. EDIT: Maybe I should read the diagram better. LOL Haswell will be launched in Q3 of this year LOL but only in the performance and mainstream line up...? Hmmm.... the 4770K is looking tempting now 🙂

Yes only mainstream for now, Haswell-E is due sometime 2014, probably Q2-Q3. Idk i was going for a Haswell i7 4770K too (7execution way engine and better single threaded optimization is what got my attention), but to be honest i really want a true 8core, that IB-E 8core (16 threads) would be perfect. Ok Haswell-E 8core would be that perfection but that is to far away.. 🙁

Hold on my 2600!! Don't fall for a 2700k/3770k! Hold on a bit longer for that sweet true 8 core replacement of yours! Hold onnnn DAMMIT...!! 😀

If my 6600 can hold on this long, yours will definitely hold on 🤓

Then lets let them hold on together a bit longer along with all our other member's "outdated" CPUs.. Together we shall stand strong until then.. 😀

Yeah but the thing is the Caselabs is a great case no matter when and what you put in it. I still have my M8 with Ped and Extended top, One day i will unleash the beast!:)

Yeah, I know what you mean 🙂 I have 920, my brother 6600 and we're not going to replace them anytime soon. Well... maybe 4000 or 5000 series, if someone among family or friends will need my or my brother's current rig.

It came fully assembled, a bitch to get up the stairs, but packed well and no shipping damage.

Sounds interesting in a world where games and apps could utilize all those cores.

A world we have yet to see, though i guess fc3 will finally be playable.
