The rest of your post is just embarrassing, literally gives me douche chills. _ As for the PS4 sales, it's pretty obvious it was going to outsell the Xbox - the cheaper console almost always outsells the more expensive one and it had better graphics/performance/arguably exclusives. I guess it's good for Sony though, I feel like all their other divisions are just bleeding money.

That's not a like for like. What you'll need to do is look at the aggregate for: A) People who bought a Smart TV (4KUHD) (and) also bought/own an STB. [versus] B) People who bought a Smart TV (4KUHD) (and) either sold/gave away/destroyed their existing STB, or no longer use their STB, because everyone realises it is redundant anno 2017/18/19/20/infinity. Do that, and we can talk again on the other page/forum - until then, the figures you are using are the total shipped figures over the history of time. Using that benchmark, I could argue the Playstation 2 is the leading games console... --- As it stands, (b) overrides (a), and this is because all new teevee's come with software to drive content to the television, without the need for an STB. Ever. It's a redundant purchase. Teevee's have ports on them for people to add HDD on the back anyway...so not even an argument to record teevee is usable for an STB... Additionally, there are some people out there who are tied into the 1990's concept of using satellite/cable and use an STB - which, again; if you remove these from the stats, you get a very very very very different picture. To clarify, that is: people who have an existing Cable/Satellite service that comes with an STB. These people, in other words, are only using an STB because it comes 'free' with their Subscription - remove the subscription and you can put them into the figures, as it stands you cannot. It's a very simple question: If you can get everything from your teevee without the need to spend additional money or owe favors to friends, why wouldn't you?

It seem so... but 2 point: -even PS4 pro still can't read BRD 4K while it can read it (bug since start of the PS4...) -XB1, PS4, XB1X and PS4Pro are past... if you have one it's ok but buy one now...

That really would be an interesting statistic. Maybe there are those who did not purchase a UHD blue ray player because they were willing to wait until they got a game console and a player in the same box. ~ I always said M$ screwed up with the X1. All they had to do to take the entire market was: a) Cut n paste the XB360. b) Give it a large unified memory system. c) 1080P/60FPS standard games. d) UHD 4K Play-back of blue ray and 1080P/2K up-scaling for everything else. So in other words, this - except I would argue that it is too late to be anything except second place. They killed their own market.

I have owned so many consoles, and I just can't do it again. I had a gamecube, ps2 and xbox as well as a DSI and pc all in the same generation and realised on probably only bought 5 games for each, each obviously games you couldn't get on the others, and sometimes a multiplat and I chose the console with the best controller for that...but for the sake of a handful of exclusives....and for my current taste, there isn't a single console exclusive I am interested in, let alone would spend new GPU level of money on for.
