I get the feeling these things are going to be hitting the thermal limiter often on the new stock coolers...

Seeing as I enjoy a bit of overclocking, i'd give these a hard pass.

Is there any room to OC the latest intel CPUs at all?!

The fin density appears to be ... lacking to say the least. If the only thing Intel redesigned was the looks, then it's just going to be more e-waste for the landfill.

no lol, remember the 10 series running at 5GHz boost, and at 5.1 being dead?

TBF I've not really been paying much attention to anything intel have been doing for the past few years - too expensive, too hot. Ryzen is a far more compelling buy, even then, not really a big enough performance jump over my current gear to warrant the upgrade...

not only in computers but in everything manufacturers realized they were selling "too much" that era is dead overclocking means they could have sold it with a different sku at a higher price this happens in cars too, my pre-previous car I boosted the hp by 50% and it ran fine for years, now they build blocks that barely hold the rated power because why would they make something stronger than needed if they can reduce their cost to the bare minimum
