Isn't EPS 8-pin the official/technical name for the CPU power 8-pin cable? Shouldn't it be PCIe 8-pin? EDIT: looked at Silverstone's own PSUs. Found that they share the same plug (EPS style) for both CPU and GPU power cables on the PSU side. So I guess this cable works properly, but that naming is still hell weird.

this is specifically a cable that uses unused EPS headers on the psu's side, it just happens that in many cases the PCIE header is the same as EPS on the modular end.

I don't understand why they split the cable at the 12 pin end. Why wouldnt you have them combined at the 12 pin end and split out at the other?

Thats the opposite of aesthetics.. That the whole point of Stairmands comment.. The cable should be only ONE cable but have 2 seperate cables at the 8-pin end. Not 2 cables joint at the 12-pin end. If there still needs to run 2 cables, why have 1 connector?.. Make it a single cable. This looks garbage.
