Xiaomi MIX 4 includes a 20MP camera and 120W charging and hidden front camera
China's Xiaomi has launched the MIX 4 smartphone for sale in the country. The flagship model has a front camera that is hidden under the screen, so there is no visual notch or hole. The smartphone has fast charging capabilities of both 120W and wireless charging capabilities of 50W.
According to Xiaomi, the screen where the camera is positioned has a pixel density of 400ppi, which makes it the same as the rest of the screen in terms of resolution and resolution. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 flash storage are all found inside the MIX 4. On the rear of the Android device, there are three cameras. There will be models with 8GB and 12GB of RAM as well as 128GB to 512GB of flash storage available.

Why would anyone want a 108MP camera on a phone? File size will be huge and quality improvement won't be noticeable.
For reference 8k is 33.2MP, so this camera pictures could fill a larger than 16k TV. Why? What for?
The smaller pixel size of the sensor will mean less lowlight performance, it's just dumb to go over 34MP (for now).
Yeah i get you but because they can and looks impressive for the regular non-techy user...

and i say that because that's a specification required for sale internally in China, aka the backdoor special.
the usual access point is the SIM, but i guarantee there's also one with the modem
when i go to China i buy a disposable phone and know it's not secure rather than risking MY phone on their networks
