Windows 7 family pack; Anytime Upgrade prices leaked

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 07/10/2009 10:26 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)
While Microsoft hasn't officially announced pricing for a Windows 7 family pack, ZDNet's Ed Bott discovered a few e-tailers that he believes inadvertently posted prices online. Retailer Expercom listed the Windows 7 family pack -- which provides Windows 7 licenses for up to 3 PCs -- for $136.95 while another retailer, University IT Computer Sales, listed it for $144.95.

That's not all though. Expercom also listed prices for Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade. Upgrading from Windows 7 Starter to Home Premium will cost $81.95, while Expercom listed an upgrade price of $90.95 to switch from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional. Finally, the Windows 7 Home Premium to Ultimate upgrade was listed for $137.95.
