Recently released images offer a glimpse of Nvidia's prototype GPU cooler, distinguished by its quad-slot design and a unique third embedded fan within the heatsink.

While similar coolers have been spotted before, this is the first time the interior has been visible. The shared images, reposted by Goofish user Hayaka and noted by @harukaze5719, reveal a detailed design featuring a compact auxiliary fan hidden within the heatsink. This fan aims to enhance airflow. The cooler boasts 22 heat pipes and a vapor chamber, optimizing the distribution of heat from the GPU and Voltage Regulator Modules (VRMs) across the cooler's surface.

With a single 12Vhpwr connection, the GPU can deliver up to 600W of power. Previous speculations suggested that Nvidia was developing a GeForce RTX 4090 Ti with a total board power (TBP) of 600W, but it appears that the production plans for this model have been abandoned. This cooler prototype was likely intended for the now discontinued RTX 4090 Ti.
