 Remove a pair of plastic stands that look to be keeping a stack of silicon wafers in place by unscrewing them. This gold-chrome plastic canister disperses colors in the same way that a factory-made wafer would. Your processor is contained within this "wafer," which is cushioned by Styrofoam. In the paperboard housing, the documentation and a case-badge are maintained distinct from one another.

Based on previous trends, it appears that this bundle is only available with the i9-12900K processor. The i9-12900KF, which does not include an integrated graphics processor, is packaged in a thin paperboard box similar to that of the i7-12700K or i5-12600K. The Core i9-12900 (non-K) processor is packaged in a somewhat larger box, which includes an Intel boxed cooler. Pre-orders for the Core i9-12900K will begin on October 27 and the processor will be available for purchase on November 4.
