Samsung C27H711 and C32H711 Curved VA Quantum Dot Monitors

Samsung Launches the C27H711 and C32H711 of the CH71 series which offer a VA panel and a curve, making these two new addition quite popular. Both models offer a 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution, true 8-bit colour support and screen sizes of 26.9” (C27) and 31.5” (C32).

Both screens get a 1800R curvature and as it is a Samsung SVA panel, a 3000:1 static contrast ratio is specified alongside 178° horizontal and 178° vertical viewing angles. Vibrancy is enhanced by the use of a flicker-free Quantum Dot LED backlight with 300 cd/m² typical brightness output reports pcmonitors.info

The refresh rate of these models is specified as 60Hz, AMD FreeSync also features and it’s possible a slightly higher refresh rate (~72Hz) is also supported. A 4ms grey to grey response time is specified. Both models have a VESA adaptor bracket, and come with MiniDP 1.2a (supports Adaptive-Sync and hence AMD FreeSync) and HDMI 1.4 (possibly 1.4a with Adaptive-Sync).

Further information on the C27 and C32 can be found on Samsung’s website. The monitors should be released very shortly, with a current listing for the 27″ model of ~$450 (~£450).

News item updated May 15th with prices.

Well i have 1440p 60Hz and i am very happy, so ideal monitor for me would be:

1-4ms GTG
144Hz G-sync+Freesync
true 10bit
40 inch not curved
4K
Quantum dot
Va panel

and all this for 1000 euros :)

FreeSync: Limiting framerates to a range of 45-~72 the world over.

Don't you dare go above or below!

Seriously, when will FreeSync monitors be improved to incorporate a broader range?

You can always tweak the FreeSync range with CRU to go much lower.
