NVIDIA to launch another Series 16 GPU: GeForce GTX 1650 next month

While the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti still has to be released, there already is word out about another SKU that would be released, the GeForce GTX 1650.

Videocardz brings the news today that NVIDIA would be planning the GeForce GTX 1650, another GTX and not RTX product that sits inside that 16 series, the info is claimed to be a confirmed and suggests that the GPU used here would be the TU117. Other than this vague rumor, nothing is known on specifications. It is mentioned though that the GeForce GTX 1650 would see a release next month in March time frame (late).

To be continued.

Nvidia getting ready this throwaway cards before Navi comes in June and makes them absolete.

1650 will be a poor gaming card just like 1050.

I do get the impression that AMD often kick ass in that price bracket, so probably better to wait to see what AMD bring.

I'm concerned about Navi, AMD talked about Zen 2, showed the Zen 2 die and revealed some demos of playing games / benchmarks. they didn't say a single thing about Navi, not even the name.
For Zen 2 and Turing gpus we get so many leaks, like this one found on some database but there's literally nothing about Navi, 0 leaks

June is still 4 months away.... if it gets released on June.... probably lower end models will be by the end of the year. way too late

at this point I might as well wait for 7nm Nvidia cards that will probably kick ass

Pricing will be mayby aggressive but this card performance will be defensive.
