Nvidia introduces GeForce Now Recommended Routers Certification
Nvidia is starting a program intended for its GeForce Now game streaming solution, it is called the Recommended Routers program. This program selects third-party routers that are best used with NVIDIA's game-streaming platform.
The GeForce NOW game-streaming service has transformed where and how you can enjoy your favorite high-performance games. With recommended routers, in-home network congestion becomes a thing of the past, helping to keep your gameplay silky smooth.
The latest generation of routers allows you to configure settings to prioritize GeForce NOW before all other data. But we wanted to make it even easier. Recommended routers are certified as factory-enabled with a GeForce NOW quality of service (QoS) profile. It’s automatically enabled when you’re gaming with GeForce NOW.
NVIDIA is working with ASUS, D-LINK, Netgear, Razer, TP-Link, Ubiquiti Networks and other router manufacturers to build GeForce NOW recommended routers. They’re committed to building best-in-class cloud gaming routers.
GeForce NOW recommended routers are available in the U.S. and Canada now, starting with Amplifi HD Gamer’s Edition by Ubiquiti Networks. Look for firmware updates for routers already available, as well as new routers in more regions, early next year.
We do wonder when a MESH setup will be renamed to SLI-WIFI compatible ;-)

I occasionally use geforce now over my home WiFi and DSL connection, not had any issues so far. That's using a nvidia shield.

I imagine to get that fictional certification they would need a wired gigabit backbone between nodes. I can only imagine how badly GeForce Now would work on a Wi-Fi only mesh network - the packet loss alone would kill any chance of getting a decent stream, let alone the horrendous latency.
