Microsoft goofs bigtime with photoshopped image

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 08/27/2009 10:11 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

Microsoft landed in a bit of rough water and reputation damage, it appears Microsoft has photo-shopped an image on the Polish version of its Business Productivity site.

If you visit the US business site you will see the image below (top) and if you visit the Polish site you'll see the same picture (bottom) but the man in the middle is no longer black. To top it off, the forgot to Photoshop the man's hand.

Why has Microsoft done this? Well, that's too obvious really .. Poland definitely is somewhat more conservative and they adapted their strategy to it.

Microsoft has said on Twitter that it is in the process of taking down the image, calling it a 'marketing site photo mistake.'

Come on Microsoft .. it's 2009, not the middle ages. Check out the thumbnail.
