Reports indicate Intel's plans for the impending release of a revised range of Raptor Lake processors, encompassing both the K-series and non-K-series types. Predictions place the K-series update in October, while the non-K-series update could debut either in November or December this year. Speculations regarding a proposed Sapphire Rapids revision are also circulating.

ECSM, a reliable source on Chinese social media site Billibili, known for its accurate insights on Intel processors, is the origin of these reports. ECSM posits that the forthcoming Raptor Lake revision will encompass enhanced versions of existing processors, alongside a new variant consisting of 8 performance cores and 12 E-cores.

Multiple media outlets are speculating that Intel might label this revision as the '14th Gen Core.' However, the precise nomenclature for the remaining SKUs within the Meteor Lake generation remains undetermined. Intel has authenticated an impending rebrand for their consumer processors, but the exact series names remain unrevealed.

Notably, ECSM also points out that the desktop variant of the Meteor Lake S processors has been discontinued due to not fulfilling Intel's standards. Nonetheless, the mobile Meteor Lake CPUs are projected to enter the market in the concluding quarter of this year.
