Intel Announces the Launch of the NUC X15 Reference Gaming Laptops

Intel launches the NUC P14E modular laptop. This notebook, for example, supports replaceable Compute Element cards equipped with a CPU and RAM. Additionally, the NUC P14E features a 3:2 display and a 77Wh battery.



Earlier this month, Intel introduced five NUC X15 Laptop Kits, each of which includes a Tiger Lake processor and NVIDIA RTX 30 Series graphics. The Intel NUC laptops are sold directly to system integrators without any memory or storage, and they are not accessible for direct consumer purchase, hence there is no information on availability or pricing.

Intel offers two processor options, the Core i5-11400H and the Core i7-11800H, which may be used in conjunction with either an RTX 3060 or an RTX 3070 graphics card. Every one of the three display options has IPS panels with minimal bezels, and they're all available in full high definition (FHD), full high definition (240Hz), and full high definition (165Hz) resolutions. They all include with mechanical keyboards with RGB lighting, WiFi 6, Thunderbolt 4, PCIe Gen 4 storage, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.1, and a 94 Wh battery. The laptops are also equipped with Windows Hello.

Intel also states in a downloadable PDF that the laptop will be equipped with a 13.9" screen with a resolution of 3000x2000 pixels and a maximum brightness of 400cd/m². The IPS display is touch-sensitive and according to Intel can support the full sRGB- display color space. The  1.5 kilogram NUC P14E has the following dimensions: 303.6 x 229.4 x 16.55 mm and measures 303.6 x 229,4 x 16.55 mm. The supplied 65W charger charges the 77Wh battery through USB-C port on the device. According to the product information PDF provided by Intel, the laptop is intended for commercial use. In addition, they have not disclosed proposed retail prices.
