Iiyama 30" IPS XB3070WQS
Iiyama are set to release their new XB3070WQS screen soon. Offering a 16:10 aspect ratio 2560 x 1600 resolution, the AH-IPS panel offers 5ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 viewing angles.
The backlight offers wide gamut support with 99% Adobe RGB covered here. The screen is reportedly flicker free as well which is good news. There are DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and D-sub connections offered. There are 2x 2W stereo speakers included as well, and the stand offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments. The screen should be available in Japan very soon. Price and other availability is not known at the moment. Via TFT Central.

I still love my 30 inch DELL U3011.
16:10 is great for browsing, but not so great for gaming as alot of games dont support 16:10 anymore. it will show a letterboxed view.

All computers should stick to 16:10, all tvs to 21:9, period. Now i have to watch old 4:3 movies and anime with two BIG SIDEBARS. Pity, had to buy U3011 just to keep decent picture, quality is good thou, but laptop cant keep up with resolution if gaming. In 16:9 setup there is an urge to get another 16:9 just in vertical position for web content and pdf. Simply stupid. Those two standards, mentioned above, would be enough for anyone.

Doubt you will ever see FreeSync on a 10-bit Monitor, since those are mainly Photo Editing screens.

Beautiful monitor, an aspect ratio of 2560 x 1600 and 5ms response time. Nice!
No 120Hz unfortunately but still a stunning IPS monitor...
