Intel's Core i7-11700K (Rocket Lake) appeared in the Geekbench database. It seems to be a release version of the chip, which includes a base clock of 3.6 GHz.

It should be on par with the i7-10900K and beat the AMD competitor Ryzen 9 5950X at least in terms of single-core performance. The listing shows that the processor has eight cores with hyper-threading, as expected. The chip has a clock speed of 3.6 GHz which is slightly lower than the current Core i7-10700K, (3.8GHz). it would get a turbo frequency of 5.0GHz.

The Intel Core i7-11700K achieves scores of 1807 with a single core and 10673 with all cores respectively in Geekbench. With the previous Core i7-10700K these scores are 1349 and 8973 respectively. The Ryzen 7 5800X, which also has eight cores and 16 threads, achieves an average single-core score of 1663 with a multicore result of 10361 without manual overclocking. A Ryzen 9 5950X with sixteen cores and SMT achieves average scores of 1672 and 16515 respectively.
