Activision reveals Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War: Watch the first trailer

Activision revealed the future of the Call of Duty franchise. As the rumors suggested with a singular Doritos blurb , the new game in the series will be Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.

The title was revealed with a two-minute teaser called " Know Your Story, " the same words that appeared within Call of Duty Warzone. The video provides a brief background on the cold war and notes that the game will be inspired by historical events.

Although we know what the new game will be based on, we do not yet have details on the gameplay of the new Call of Duty. However, the news would not be long in coming: According to Activision, the full reveal of Black Ops: Cold War will take place next Wednesday, August 26.

I keep saying I won't by the next COD, and damit I always do. And damit a cold war story line has me intrigued, say want you want about the MP but the single player game has always been fun and very cinematic if not a little short.

The original Black Ops was the last COD game I've played, and I've played them all before that but only for the single player. Around the same time I got into BF, and multi player wise, I never looked back. I guess I just can't see myself paying the price just for the very short campaigns. However, given the pathetic state BF franchise is in right now, I might give this one a go and finally get back into COD.
