Dell announced the release of the U3824DW - a 37.5-inch ultra-wide curved liquid crystal display. This new display, now available for sale, offers a direct sales price of $1299

The "U3824DW" features an IPS Black LCD panel that ensures vivid colors and deep blacks, covering a wide color gamut including 100% sRGB, 100% Rec.709, 98% DCI-P3, and 100% Rec.709. It offers various functionalities such as a USB Type-C port with up to 90W power supply capability for charging a notebook PC, a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, power button synchronization to turn on the notebook PC in sync with the display, and a KVM switch function.

With a resolution of 3,840 x 1,600 dots, brightness of 300 cd/m2, and response speed of 8 ms (normal) / 5 ms (high speed), the "U3824DW" delivers high-quality visuals. It has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, contrast ratio of 2,000:1, and supports a display color palette of 1.07 billion colors. The viewing angle is wide, with horizontal and vertical angles of 178°.

The interface options include HDMI 2.1 x 2, DisplayPort 1.4 x 1, USB Type-C (supports video output) x 1, USB Type-C (data only) x 1, audio output x 1, and USB Type-A x 4. The physical dimensions of the display are 894.26 mm in width, 251.21 mm in depth, and 443.76 to 563.76 mm in height. It weighs 13.27 kg. The "U3824DW" is now available for purchase at a direct sales price of 202,800 yen (including tax) starting from June 26, 2023.
