DeepCool, a renowned cooling solutions manufacturer, introduced the highly anticipated Assassin IV Dual Tower CPU cooler at CES 2023. This flagship high-performance cooler features a striking all-black monolithic design with a shroud covering its entire sheet-metal.

Recently released product images and press materials for the Chinese market have generated excitement among hardware enthusiasts, with predictions of numerous design awards.

As per DeepCool's translated press release, the Assassin IV CPU cooler delivers ultra-quiet operation while efficiently dissipating up to 280 W of heat. The heatsink comprises seven heat pipes and includes a dual fan configuration with 120 and 140 mm FDB fans that operate at high RPMs with minimal noise. In performance mode, the fans offer an airflow of 79.1 / 58.06 CFM, while quiet mode provides a softer airflow of 63.76 / 46.75 CFM. Generating noise levels of 29.3 dB(A) or less at peak performance and 22.6 dB(A) or less in quiet mode, this cooler ranks among the quietest on the market. Moreover, the entire cooling solution consumes a mere 2.88 W in performance mode.

Measuring 144 x 147 x 164 mm, the Assassin IV weighs 1.575 KG, with the heatsink alone measuring 140x110x160mm. The adjustable 140 mm and 120 mm fans can be repositioned on the heatsink to provide additional clearance above RAM DIMMs and other tall motherboard attachments. Both fans are powered by a single 4-pin PWM connector. Compatible with Intel's high-end Core i9 CPUs, the Assassin IV supports LGA1700/1200/115x & LGA20xx sockets as well as AMD's AM4 & AM5 sockets.

While availability and pricing for Western markets remain unconfirmed, the Assassin IV is expected to be in high demand among hardware enthusiasts worldwide. Combining exceptional specs, silent operation, and an eye-catching monolithic design, the Assassin IV is set to make a bold statement in any PC build.
