ccording to VideoCardz, AMD plans to revamp its Ryzen Threadripper PRO workstation CPU line in January 2022 (announcements), with thus product debuts scheduled for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
sWRX8 I/O, which has 128 PCI-Express Gen 4 lanes and 8-channel DDR4 memory, is expected to be paired with "Zen 3+" CCDs (6 nm, with 3D Vertical Cache memory) in the "Zen 3+" technology. There are no sTRX4 options in sight.
CPU core counts range from 12-core/24-thread to 64-core/128-thread, with the latter being the most common. Threadripper WX predecessors have more cores than Threadripper WX (32 and up). It includes the Threadripper PRO 5945WX (12-core/24-thread), PRO 5955WX (16-core/32-thread), PRO 5965WX (24-core/48-thread), PRO 5975WX (32-core/64-thread), and PRO 5995WX (64-core/128-thread).
