AMD Ryzen 3 2300X Benchmarks Leak in Asia

The Chinese Chiphell forum shows benchmarks result of a Ryzen 3 2300X. It seems the new value Quad-Core CPUs are released soon, likely in line with a B450 chipset release?

Next, to the Ryzen 3 2300X we also expect a Ryzen 5 2500X to be releases, as both already revealed itself at motherboard manufacturers bios info. Also Geekbench results last month revealed that the chip boost towards 4 GHz, making these interesting quad-core processor in the value segment. Chiphell shows CPU-Z screenshots and Cinebench R15 results and confirm the details you want to know.

Four cores and four threads would get a 3.5 GHz base clock frequency, with a 4.0 GHz boost capacity. The TDP is listed at 65 watts and the Cinebench R15 multi-threaded benchmark shows a score of 690 points for the 2300X, which is actually slightly above the Core i3 8350K territory.

@Hilbert Hagedoorn Do you believe this upcoming cpu and chipset is the most relevant upgrade for my system (athlon x4 860k and FM2+ chipset)? This when released should be safely at least double the performance but almost the same low-end price, am I thinking right?

No offense Warlord, but just about anything would be considered an upgrade. The 2300x would be a very fine upgrade in my opinion.
