Radeon R9-290 Crossfire review 4

We review the Radeon R9-290 setup in two way Crossfire vs GeForce GTX 780 SLI, next to our default FPS benchmarks we do Ultra HD and FCAT Frametime measurements as well.  Over the next few pages we'll tell you a bit about multi-GPU gaming, the challenges, the requirements and of course a nice tasty benchmark session with the latest games. We'll have a peek at temperatures and power consumption of the Radeon cards in Crossfire mode to monitor its generated performance.

Looks...glad amd is getting some spotlight on these cards.

Will however be sticking with my 780 sli.

I still think a well overclocked 780 beats out the 290 as it appears to not clock well.

The 290 looks like a fantastic card in CF. Especially for the price. This is great for competition. Again, too bad about the heat. Great review, Hilbert. :thumbup:
