AMD Ryzen 7 7700 processor review

We check out AMD's new non-X Ryzen 7 7700 series 8-core processor, and it impressed us far more than the original X model. The newer version's performance is superior, and its thermal design power (TDP) rating is significantly more reasonable at 65W. This implies lower temperatures while still reaping the benefits of the Ryzen 7000 architecture.

@Aniboom exactly what I wanted to comment ... maybe this is way the 5800x3D increased in price. As it beets the 7000 series ... in quite a lot of games. ( and you don't need to buy DDR5 and AM5 mobo ) Ques the 5800x3D will be my next upgrade from 3800x , this way I can keep the mobo , ram ... and my pc will serve me for 5 to 7 years

@IchimA After reading your comment I just checked some local retailers and noticed how some of them just started hiking up the price.
There are still some sellin' the 5800X3D for about 350eur but most of them jumped to almost 500eur LOL.

To me the whole new series seems pointless compared to 13k.
I would just release the 7k3D and be done with it lol (as in, thats the only one that matters at this point)

Looks like the 7700 is the smexiest of the bunch yet it still looks a bit meh if you take the entire platform into it: AM4/DDR4 costs vs AM5/DDR5. 5800X3D is still OP.
