AMD Ryzen 5 2600X review 5

In this review, we test the Ryzen 5 2600X review. The new six-core flagship comes with twelve threads and increased base and turbo frequencies. How does 3.6 GHz on the base-clock and 4.2 GHz on the boost clock sound? Armed with a pretty spectacular value price, this might be the new CPU for many to get their overall desktop and PC Gaming freak on going.

HH, great review. I love the 720p resolution to measure engine limitations but I think this is the best bang for the buck processor right now! Its within blinking distance to the mighty 8700K at 1080p + resolutions with a good GPU and a good deal cheaper.

Can almost get a 1080Ti with the savings which is a win win!

Interesting to see 6C/12T Ryzen 2600X @ 3.6 - 4.2 GHz matching 6C/12T i7-8700 @ 3.7 - 4.7 GHz in multithreaded workloads.

I've got a really bad OCing 1600X I wonder how good the 2600X will run in an X370 board. Great review as always HH.
