Zalman Reserator 3 MAX review -
Article
Introduction
In this review we test the ZALMAN Reserator 3 MAX liquid cooler. The All-In-one kit features a 120 mm fan and copper dual-radial radiators (one inner radiator and one outer radiator). The new cooler combines two radial radiators, a circular water block, and nanofluids to cool Intel and AMD’s latest processors. The radiators route the nanofluid coolant through copper pipes that are surrounded by copper fins.
The pump is fitted over the water block and two tubes connect the block to radiator. The copper on the radiator is nickel plated in a black pearl color. A 120mm fan with blue LED is bundled with the cooler, and users have the option to set up a push-pull configuration by adding a second 120mm fan. The bundled fan is PWM controlled and spins at anywhere between 1,000 and 2,200 RPM (18.9 to 36.7 dBA).
The cooler is intersting on the eyes and has a relatively simple to manage installation, the product is compatible with AMD Socket AM2, AM3, FM1 and FM2 any modern AMD CPU really. All current Intel socket formats are covered too, so whether you have a LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366 or LGA2011 motherboard this product will fit / can be used. The cooler weighs in at a combined 897 grams.
So let's have a peek at the ZALMAN Reserator 3 MAX and then head onwards into the review where we'll put it to the test with a Core i7 3770K processor, which we'll overclock at two voltage levels as well to see how well this cooling solution can absorb and exhaust heat. We feel that the product is just a great product in combo with the severe hotness that are Sandy/Ivy Bridge and Haswell based processors.
In this review we test the Zalman Reserator 3 MAX cooler. Compatible with most Intel and AMD platforms, including Intel Sockets 775, 1150, 1155, 1156, 1366, and 2011; and AMD Sockets AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, and FM2. The Reserator 3 MAX is an all-in-one Liquid Cooling solution that should be easy to install and use.
Zalman Reserator XT Liquid Cooling review
In the past we have tested a good number of items from them already. Among them the really awesone Reserator water-cooling products. Recently they released a new model of that Reserator cooler namely the Reserator XT. he trick about this incredibly sexy product is that thanks to a low-noise fan we can now push more performance out of their water-cooling product. So here at Guru3D we figured .. hmm, why not test the Reserator XT with a high-end system.
Inno3D GeForce 7950 GT Zalman review
Over the next pages we'll review the Inno3D version. Interestingly enough with Zalman cooler. Our last Inno3D review was slightly negative due to the awful amount of noise the reference coolers made and as any clever company does .. they listen. So they decided to release a model with A Zalman cooler. And you know Zalman .. they offer silence versus good cooling.
Zalman Reserator 2 review
Today we'll be looking at Zalman's Reserator version 2, a completely redesigned and improved passive water-cooling kit that again will stun and amaze. Not only is the kit really sexy looking, I guarantee you it's cooling is even better as well. We'll be water-cooling a CPU and VGA card passively, meaning no fans are being used. The rest is handled by an inaudible pump and mother nature.
