Tesoro GRAM Spectrum RGB Mechanical Keyboard

We review the Tesoro GRAM Spectrum keyboard with RGB LED backlit keys. The Tesoro GRAM Spectrum is a mechanical keyboard (designed in-house) and has been fitted with responsive Agile Switches.

This keyboard comes with Tesoro in-house designed (not to confuse with Cherry MX) switches called Agile that have RGB lighting which is per key configurable. Agile switches offer an optimized low-profile design and are unique in that they do not compromise the tactile feel, which many low-profile keyboards do.

The LED functionality can be animated and profiled, and next to that these mechy keys also have trick or two encompassed in the new design as well. The specs overall include a 1,000 Hz polling rate (configurable), 100% anti-ghosting, and the media keys and USB pass-through on the rear remain too.  The keyboard is a full n-key rollover / 6-key rollover keyboard. The GRAM spectrum is actually available in two models, well colors really a black and white models. By itself it is a little mini PC as the keyboard is powered by a 32-bit ARM processor and even has 512 KB on board memory. So all your preferences, profiles and macros aree saved on-board.

Let's have a peek at that first... and then browse our way into the review, in a rather colorful setting. Check the video below to see the RGB lighting system in action. Then we'll head onwards into the review.
