A heat spreader does not always bring the temperature down. Rather than that, it moves the heat from the chips to the PCB, distributes it more evenly throughout the module, and eliminates potential hot spots. Theoretically, this should allow better overclocking.

TeamGroup equips the Delta RGB DDR5 memory modules with an aluminum heat spreader with a matte black finish. The dual-color looks great, and the RGB lighting should make this memory kit look (at least) nice in a build. The company has placed (too) many labels on the radiator, so some people may not like it.  

The total height of the stick is about 46.1 mm/1.81 inches. That’s not a low-profile module so that you can encounter some problems with air coolers, but, as always, we recommend double-checking whether any clearance issues won’t occur before you buy this set.

Ok, here are the last shots of this nice memory kit.  The set that has been provided to us is an RGB one, so there is a need to use your motherboard’s software to control the lighting. You can use Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, or ASRock Polychrome Sync for that purpose.

The module’s weight is 47 g, so the radiator seems to be solid.
