Looking at the cooler first, it has the same overall design as the original Mugen 5. The measurements are 136 x 109.5 x 154.5 mm (WxDxH) and the weight is 900g.

The Kaze Flex II PWM fan will be located at the front of the cooler. This is a 120 mm PWM fan with a maximum airflow of 67.62 CFM and a maximum noise level of 28.60 dBA that can spin up to 1500 RPM.

The fan is linked to the heatsink by fan clamps, and each corner is rubber-wrapped to reduce vibration noise. The fan can be mounted on either side of the cooler, or a second fan can be purchased for increased performance.

Heatpipes then, six of them. While each pipe is bent somewhat differently to reach the bottom of the fins, we can see that each fin is pushed into position. There is no solder utilized here; the direct contact of the fins with the pipes is what draws heat from the pipes. The base was virtually polished to a mirror finish and nickel plated.

From the side, we can see that the cooler has a single tower design, although that tower is rather thick. The official measurements are 84mm and standing at only 154.5 cm, which means you won't have any troubles with case side panels. The heat pipes are asymmetrical (they angle back), ensuring that the heatsink and fan do not cover the memory slots.
