The 6700 XT series will not (yet) replace the Navi lineup in the form of the 5700 XT; Radeon RX 6700 XT has 2560 stream/Shader processors active, similar to that 5700 XT. However, the L3 cache and RDNA2 GPU architecture will make this a faster product. The BIOS offers fan stop in idle, meaning the card is passive (not fans spinning) when not utilized, and that brings you the fortunate effect of a silent product.
A unique feature is a dual BIOS with a triple-option selector. Our advice is very simple, keep it at performance mode, as the acoustic differential was just 1 DBa, e.g the card at performance mode is silent.
