Looking at the front side of the card we'll see CRT/VGA, VIVO and DVI-I connectors. This is a lovely VIVO model, something I wish would be standard on all modern graphics card. VIVO means Video in and out, you can record analog video signals, that's additional value and personally I believe an option all cards should have standard. It however requires an additional rage chip that will boost overall costs a little. You can record from an external device though Composite or S-Video inputs. VIVO is always optional, therefore a non VIVO model will be slightly cheaper.
The cooling a bit more up close, oh wait, I have this rather nice zoom mode in the camera ...
There ya go matey. Basically the cooler functions as in/exhaust and creates airflow over the graphics core and thus moves away that heated air and cools down the graphics core.
