It has to be the more boring part of this review, but each time we do not include these screenshots of CPU-Z, we receive emails requesting them. So from now on we'll include them as standard, for your reference. Never say we do not listen ;)
And here of course is the 3.7 GHz clocked Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition processor. As you can see, it's based on the new C3 stepping, which helps out in overclocking.
CPU-Z is always handy for verifying specifications. Let's see, yep... all proclaimed caches are there.
Even more handy, you can always verify your memory frequency and timings. We run DIMMs at a reference 1333 MHz CAS9.

AMDs current Deneb core over the past year and a half has been optimized and fine-tuned in many ways.
