4. How much money did you spend on the rig as it is right now?

I am estimating the investment at 3500-4000 euro, not including the desk, which was around 500 euros.

5. How often do you update/buy a new rig?

I would say pretty rare. My last i7 was with me 6 years. I only changed the video card a few times. With this last one, I believe I will only update the video card from time to time also. I think in two years I will look for a new one.
