The reference 3090 Ti cards have a peak boost clock up to 1860 MHz, the Gigabyte Gaming OC boosts to 1905 MHz, with the base clock hovering in the 1.560 GHz domain. Be aware of the fact that the product oozes heat quite a bit, you'll need a good ventilated PC with a properly located intake(front) and vent (top) to get rid of that 465 Watts of energy.

The Gaming OC cards from the RTX 30-series share dimensions of 330mm in length. That is enormous by any standard; RGB is lacking, and power is supplied through that 16-pin connection, which is plenty given the limited overclocking headroom. We do recommend an > 1000W power supply when using Ryzen 9 or Core i9 processors.

The RTX 3090 Ti Gaming OC 24G's display output provides 3 x DisplayPort and 1 x HDMI ports, which is adequate. One observation is that NVIDIA has opted to remove the USB-C connector from its RTX 30 series cards, which was a handy feature on the RTX 20 series cards. The VirtualLink standard is on its way out it seems.

In prior reviews, we've previously said that practically all cards are roughly 2kg in weight, and this one is no exception. A higher TDP/TGP means more heat to deal with, and thus cooling solutions are bigger and heavier. Gigabyte includes a graphic card stand that prevents sagging though.

There you have it, the new 3x 8-pin to 16-pin connector. Just make sure you have a powerful enough PSU, as stated, on a high-end system a kilowatt power supply is a path to follow.  In case you missed it, the RTX 3090 Ti Gaming OC 24G features an adjustable dual BIOS design that can be accessed through a dip switch on the top side of the card. The card is set to run in OC mode by default, but you may switch to Silent mode for quieter operation, which needs a reboot to take effect. Realistically, the card remains quite silent even in OC mode, so this is our preferred setting.

Included is a 3x 8-pin PCIe PEG power converter cable. Remember, if you need to use the adapter cable, you need to have at least 3x 8-pin PCIe Graphics power connectors available. A lot of 800W and lower PSUs only offer two of them.

And yeah, there it is, no RGB whatsoever, admittedly the all dark look does feel like a proper fit.
