GeForce RTX 2060 review (founder) - Product Showcase

The GeForce RTX 2060 founders edition has no front side vents with a mesh, see the bottom radiators nicely colored in black? That's where hot air will be pushed out, and in fact, that will heat up the motherboard (you can actually observe that behaviour in our thermal images). As we always state, chassis ventilation not just a must, with this design it's a necessity. We'll look a bit closer at that in our thermal imaging chapter though.

The radiator surface area has increased, bringing some extra weight and sits at roughly 1 kg. The card does not bend, it has been reinforced. We likely the color design btw, nice black elements including the monitor output plate.

Size then, that's roughly 22.5 cm / 8.9 inches of graphics card right there, so that card will fit in pretty much any chassis. On a side note, unfortunately, the power connector is located at the rear end of the card.

Here you can see the power connector a little better. We have to go back years in time, as only in the past that was the normal location for power connectors. Since the card is small, I do prefer it that way as you can better hide the power cable making up for a cleaner build (visually).
