The Online Experience
Now to the real deal. This game is at its best online. This gives you a chance to test your skills with other living human beings. The game incorporates built in voice communication, which lets you talk with your teammates. It gives you the ability to communicate with your unit, which is really great as you can talk to your unit and work as a small team to support each other. The online gameplay can be awesome at times and total frustration if someone in the team does not obey or act as a team player and go Rambo alone (Ed: Leeeeerrroooy), getting himself killed. It hurts your unit if he is a medic or sniper or support unit. Also no matter how good you are or how big your team is, you will get outplayed if the opposition is organized. When I played online on a server, me and my 3 friends were able to defend our position against 12 guys who were not working as a team. Other teammates on our team were going solo without coordination or listening to what the commander was saying. But a small bunch working together was all that was needed to win. We ran through the other team and reduced their tickets to zero in the matter on 10 minutes. This can be frustrating if your on the team that does not act together or follow orders. You can always vote out the guys who don't work as a team or server can boot the team killers. But you will always find someone who ruins the game for you. This is not specific to this game but it's applicable for each and every multiplayer shooters I have played so no big deal there.

The gaming experience was good with good pings on the servers outside my country too. I was able to play on Japanese servers with pings below 60 even when I was located in India. I cannot manage the same on games like CSS or Quake 3. This means that the net code is good. And also on the high ping servers, gameplay was not too bad unlike most shooters where it becomes almost unplayable once your ping goes above say 150. I spent over 20 hours playing online to get the feel of the game and it was one of the better experiences. The most striking feature of the multiplayer is now you can keep a single character and it gets medals and gets ranked depending on how good you do online over time. This is very cool feature indeed.

The only problem faced is while browsing the server it takes a while for the server list to appear on the screen.
