DX11 - VERY High Quality - FXAA performance
We arrive at the mother of image quality settings, the range where you'll need to start spending money for your graphics cards. All tests on these page have DX11 / Very HIGH Quality mode with FXAA enabled.
Our scores are average framerates so you need to take a margin in mind for lower FPS at all times. As such we say 40 FPS for this game should be your minimum, while 60 FPS (frames per second) can be considered optimal. But does anybody play at 1600x1200, no? Ok let's bump the monitor resolution up a notch.
At 1920x1200/1080 we arrive at monitor resolutions that most of us use. With that 40 FPS in the back of our head we can quickly see that we already need a Radeon HD 7970 or GeForce GTX 670 here. Preferably a GTX 680 or 7970 GHz edition actually.
At 2560x1600 we see silly things happen as the majority of the playing field graphics cards runs into problems. Here's where you need a super trooper Titan or 690. We didn't have the ARES II anymore, but we are certain that card would deal with performance really well also.
Well, it does answer the question, 'can it play Crysis?'.
In this review slash article we'll look at Crysis 3 VGA Graphics benchmark performance with roughly 22 graphics cards. The new and popular title is daunting from a graphics point of view.
