100 bucks for the VOID RGB ELITE WIRELESS is quite reasonable. The sturdy structure (the headset weighs 390g) features a quadrilateral design of the ear cups with on-ear controls and internal memory foam. The VOID RGB ELITE WIRELESS has two neodymium magnet 50mm drivers, and that’s what usually provides the best sound for me. They should offer good volume levels and clarity.

The ear-cups on the VOID RGB ELITE WIRELESS are big and padded, with premium soft-touch materials. To ensure durability, a high-quality metal internal headband provides exceptional strength. The feel of the headset itself delivers comfort in the form of breathable microfiber mesh fabric, plush memory foam earpads, and aluminum yokes.

Overall, the cups are very comfortable to wear, even for a guy with a relatively big head, like me. Head sizes do differ, but most users will probably find they fit.

The rotating knob acts as a joystick for navigating between different pre-sets (you just push the wheel), as well as volume control. Here, you can also see the Micro-USB port (a full charge of the battery takes about half an hour). Near the USB port, there is a LED that signals the current operation mode, as well as battery status. For the next revision, I’d suggest using USB Type-C, as it’s very common in recent mobile devices (and it’s also easier to plug in). You simply place the wireless USB adapter in your PC’s USB port. Should your battery deplete during use, you can just plug the headset into the USB port and continue using it while charging.

You can see two buttons here, one is an on/off switch, and the other one is the mic mute. The wireless performance is good, with a range of about 10 meters. If you go out of range, there's no quality loss and the device simply either works or it doesn't. The USB wireless system has a downside, as you can't connect these headphones to your HiFi equipment at all, so it’s only for PC use. It would be good if Corsair moved towards the more widely compatible Bluetooth standard, as I’d gladly use the VOID RGB ELITE WIRELESS with my mobile.

Here, you can see the comparison of the looks vs the Corsair HS70 headset.

The headband uses memory foam, so it should easily adjust to the shape of your head with the help of the heat generated by your body. The interior of the cups features a soft, premium, memory foam material; the breathable microfiber mesh makes the solution complete. If you are a big guy (like me), you can adjust the headset and position the cups a bit lower/higher depending on the size of your head and your preferences, of course. The cups can be rotated, so that’s a plus.

The mic is attached permanently, and this time it’s omnidirectional. The microphone has a flexible rubber body and an additional LED for signaling the mute functionality.
