As you know here at Guru3D.com we try to show it all, and that includes packaging. Be prepared to pickup a large and heavy box as the sub-woofer does add weight to the package alright. The box is clearly Corsair black/blue styled, if you pick a kit up on a retail store, it's hard to miss alright.
Inside the box you'll notice that everything is carefully packaged, no issues there. Chances of damaging anything are close to NIL really. All important components are protected by a foam layer and plastic as well.
Let's walk through the bundled "smaller stuff" first. You receive everything to get yourself up and running. this includes Subwoofer, Satellites (two), Desktop controller with 6 / 1.8m cable, 3.5mm to stereo RCA cable for PC input, Two 6 / 1.8m satellite audio cables with ATX4 connectors and a Power cable. You will also receive two rubber mounted stands to position the speakers towards your ears.
Corsair provides a digital control unit with a 1.8 (4.6cm) TFT color screen. The multi-lingual menu system provides the ability to select from several dynamic digital processing modes, EQ settings for various genres of games, movies, and music, select from the three input sources, and more.
The Corsair K70 RGB Pro keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. It’s not the first one from the K70 series checked on guru3d. Previously those were K70 RGB Rapidfire Mk2, also in a low-profile version, and as a TKL, so overall, there shouldn’t be any significant surprise as far as the general concept goes. Corsair K70 RGB Pro takes some K100 RGB and (most of) K70 RGB TKL CHAMPION (already mentioned) features. The suffix “Pro” wasn’t used yet, so probably it was the right time for that.
