Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM XT review -
Specifications
Technical specifications
The K95 RGB PLATINUM XT is a 100% mechanical keyboard (the weight is 1.31 kg) with 1000 Hz polling rate (1 ms report rate), anti-ghosting capability, Full N-Key Rollover, dedicated multimedia and audio buttons, and USB Passthrough. The reviewed model is available with three Cherry MX switch options, MX Silver RGB Speed, MX RGB Brown and MX RGB Blue. The RGB lighting can be configured for each key individually, offering a choice of 16.8 million colours. One great feature is 8 MB of internal memory to store macros, lighting settings, profiles, etc.
Key Features
One of the fantastic features is the ability to synchronize the lighting effects with any other compatible Corsair RGB gear, like mouse or headset. There are already some built-in presets, but you can modify that. iCUE enables you to use not only your own profiles, but you can download them.

100% anti-ghosting and full n-key rollover over USB are necessary for gaming nowadays, and the K95 RGB PLATINUM XT has got you covered. For FPS and MOBA games, Corsair provides replacement keycaps (WASD and QWERDF respectively), which are textured and contoured, so you can find them with ease. There is also a set for the left-side macro keys (blue) which can act as Elgato Stream Deck ones too. Swapping the keys is not difficult, because the included key-puller does its job great. One feature you can’t miss is the USB 2.0 passthrough, which lets you connect any USB device to the keyboard. The cushioned leatherette wrist rest improves comfort for longer writing or gaming sessions. It’s detachable and very soft to the touch.
