Technical specifications

The CORSAIR K70 RGB MINI 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard combines top-level performance with portability. PBT double-shot keycaps deliver exceptional durability with a premium look and feel. With 8,000Hz hyper-polling enabled by AXON hyper-processing technology, CHERRY MX RGB Red mechanical keyswitches, and expansive onboard shortcuts, the K65 RGB MINI offers big performance and functionality in a compact design. Vivid per-key RGB backlighting is fully customizable through CORSAIR iCUE software, alongside key remaps, custom macros, and immersive integration with select games. Save up to 50 profiles to take with you anywhere with 8MB of onboard storage. Full N-key rollover, Windows Key Lock mode, and a detachable braided USB Type-C cable make the K65 RGB MINI a high-performance gaming companion at home and on-the-go, so you can win in any space.

Key Features:

  • Small Size, Big Features: The K70 RGB MINI delivers big features compressed into a 60% form-factor to easily fit into even the tightest spaces for comfortable gaming.
  • Powered by CORSAIR AXON Hyper-Processing Technology: Transmits your inputs to your PC up to 8x faster than conventional gaming keyboards with 8,000Hz hyper-polling.
  • 100% CHERRY MX RGB Red Mechanical Keyswitches: Offer a linear travel, combined with the minimal spring force, resulting in a silky smooth keypress for performance gaming, registering key presses up to 4x faster than standard mechanical gaming keyboards with CORSAIR AXON, and are guaranteed for 100 million keystrokes.
  • PBT Double-Shot Keycaps: A precision-molded keycap set that resists wear, fading, and shine, with 1.5mm thickness for rigid stability.
  • Detachable Braided USB Type-C Cable: This makes the portable K65 RGB MINI easy to take on the go and connect to any system, anywhere.
  • Expansive Onboard Shortcuts: Access a robust set of features, including controls for lighting, profiles, macros, media, volume, and mouse cursor.
  • Powerful CORSAIR iCUE Software: Compatible with both Windows and macOS, enabling dynamic RGB lighting control, key remaps, macro programming, and exclusive integrations with select games that turn your system’s lighting into an extension of the action.
  • 8MB of Onboard Storage: Store up to 50 onboard profiles with custom macros and your own uniquely vibrant RGB lighting effects with up to 20 lighting layers.
  • Full N-Key Rollover (NKRO) and 100% Anti-Ghosting: Ensures that every keypress registers, no matter how fast you play.
  • Windows Key Lock Mode: Prevents accidental Windows and contextual menu key presses to ensure you’ll never interrupt your game at critical moments.

100% anti-ghosting and full n-key rollover over USB are now pretty much mandatory for gaming, and the K70 RGB MINI has you covered. Another cool feature is the ability to sync the lighting effects with any other Corsair RGB gear, such as a mouse or a headset (but this has already become the standard with Corsair). By the way, the keyboard will be offered in three switch configurations: red and speed.

Wireless

The kit comes with a  dongle, as the Keyboard makes use of Corsair's slipstream technology. With the dongle, you can connect to your PC, PS, Xbox, MAX, or even mobile. Slipstream technolgo9 makes sure you can connect over WIFI or Bluetooth.  Alternatively, you can use a removable USB cable, and hook it up over USB. Which you'll need to do every now and then as you'll need to charge the unit.

Corsair K70 PRO RGB keyboard review
The Corsair K70 RGB Pro keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. It’s not the first one from the K70 series checked on guru3d. Previously those were K70 RGB Rapidfire Mk2, also in a low-profile version, and as a TKL, so overall, there shouldn’t be any significant surprise as far as the general concept goes. Corsair K70 RGB Pro takes some K100 RGB and (most of) K70 RGB TKL CHAMPION (already mentioned) features. The suffix “Pro” wasn’t used yet, so probably it was the right time for that.
