Cooler Master Eisberg 240L Prestige review -
Product Installation
Okay installation then. First we mount two Intel brackets onto the liquid cooling block, you push them inward until you hear a click. Then the retention bracket is secure.
Mounting the cooler is a fairly easy thing to do, the motherboard does not need to come out of the chassis, you don't even need to acces the backside of the motherboard. Now first at the frontside we insert a threaded insert at each of the four holes in the motherboard. Push these all the way through.
At the frontside we now screw in four threaded rods (the pins that stick out). You should have already inserted your processor, you can apply the supplied thermal paste.
You then mount the cooling block. Then each rod gets a washer and a spring and we are now ready to secure them with the nuts.
Once we seat the cooler in position it aligns with the four standoff studs / rods.We secure the unit with four nuts. Turn them tight until they can go no further. Once seated you can now connect the pump lead to a 5V fan header. All takes like 15 minutes work tops, we positioned the cooler and are ready for the first test run.
Today, we are reviewing two air coolers from Cooler Master: MasterAir MA624 Stealth and MA612 Stealth ARGB. Usually, we had a chance to check the AIO solutions from them, so now it's a good opportunity to study what we can achieve more standardly. This will also be a nice occasion to present two types of cooling architecture, as the MA612 Stealth ARGB is a single-tower, and MA624 Stealth is a dual-tower
