Cataclysm and Patch 4.1

Th next expansion to World of Warcraft, Cataclysm is slated to be released in a few weeks on December 7th and the beta is in full swing. So most of the information is already out. Still the developers let a few new tidbits out as well as information on the next patch after Cataclysm is released, Patch 4.1.

Classic Heroics

Yes they are bringing back a few old dungeons and revamping them for some max level fun. Expect some new quests and a few new enemies! 

They also discussed how they were going to revamp classic dungeons, some by splitting them into wings and others by simply trimming them. Here's a before and after of a newly winged Uldaman.

And here we have an example of a very trimmed dugeon, Sunken Temple.

They also announced a new feature, Enhanced Maps. Now you will be able to see a boss's lore, loot and abilities before you even face him. This means you don't need to die to a boss to know what abilities the boss uses anymore!
