The be quiet! Silent Base 601 is equipped with one 140 mm Pure Wings 2 (1000 rpm edition) fan. You can install up to 3 x 120/140 mm instead. That space can support even 360 mm radiators.

If you need to install a thicker radiator, you can remove the plastic cover in the PSU shroud.

The backside of the be quiet! chassis is clean, with no real reasons to complain.

It would be nice to have a bit more space for cable routing, as clearance varies from 20 mm (which sometimes can be troublesome) to 25 mm. If you have many cables, it’s possible to happen that the side panel will have to be pushed with some force to snap it secure. 2.5cm, however, is very reasonable.

At the lower-left side, there is a (removable) HDD/SSD cage.

Standard cables include USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and front panel connections (with HD audio), as well as SATA + 3 fan connectors for the 3-step controller. The two standard fans come pre-connected. The cabling is black, which improves the aesthetic of the whole package.
