Each of the side panels is easily released with a button.

Let’s check what’s waiting for us inside after popping it out. Oh wait; let’s check the thickness of dampening mat first.

Ok, it’s 10 mm, like the manufacturer promised. Really thick ...

It’s a bit thinner at the front panel (about 6-7 mm). Now we can move on to the interior.

The first thing you will notice will be almost 100% sure the orange rubber grommets.

You can install your SSD/HDDs in a rear-mounted cage with the cables routed through the back wall. This enables you to hide the PSU and HDD trays. You can also install your drives in the HDD cage in the main chamber (this one is included, additional ones are sold separately). Although it’s not a huge chassis, it’s easy to access the motherboard and you can fit big components here. The case supports graphics cards up to 287/449 mm (with/without the HDD cage) and CPU cooler up to 185 mm (that is almost overkill).

Today we’re putting the new be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W power supply on our test bench. The company is mainly known for its PSUs and Hilbert has recently reviewed the Dark Power 13 1000W. On the same day (24th January), the Pure Power 12M series was officially announced. We reviewed the predecessors, be quiet! Pure Power 11 (in 2018, it earned the “Recommended” award) and Pure Power 11 FM (in February 2022, also “Recommended), and we wonder what has changed in the meantime for the Pure Power 12M. The main difference is the full ATX 3.0 compatibility.
