Final Words & Conclusion

If you already had bought the game and have a decent DX11 class graphics card, then by all means give the quality settings modes a try. The performance hit is extensive when you use MSAA. The game itself offers a lot of eye-candy whether that is to be found in shadows, textures, tessellation or post processing effects like depth of field, the game just looks a nice.

Battlefield VGA and CPU performance

We hope you liked this little soirée of tests which will be an indicator of overall performance. Make no mistake, this game in Ultra quality mode makes your GPU(s) sweat, but BF3 has become amongst the better looking games anno 2011.

It's going to busy from here onwards, we do hope to find some time to add some more results in the CPU section, hey we can't help it that the Origin GUI doesn't like multiple systems and then kicks us out of our account. But that's gaming anno 2011 as it seems. PC gamers need to deal with a lot of stuff, Origin is one of them. Let's hope we see a proper port to Steam in the very near future or that origin shapes up in the same fashion.

I do promise to insert Radeon HD 6990 results once I receive a driver that doesn't make it crash and we do woe you some multi-GPU performance resutls as well. A new batch of Catalysts should be released on 30 or 31st of October.

Have a great weekend ya'll ! Hilbert out
