The metal covers on the primary x16 PCI-Express slot should offer some sturdier and stronger slots, handy for usage with massive heavy graphics cards.

There is quite some attention to detail in the CPU area. If you count along with me, the CPU alone has six power phases, these are fed by one 8-pin power connector. The MOSFETS are cooled with a proper VRM heatsink.

Overall a nice looking board following the ATX form factor. Today we pair it with a 3200MHz memory kit from Teamgroup who offers TUF styled memory.

The audio chip used is the Realtek ALC887 that still offers 7.1-channel High Definition audio, it has been enhanced with a few higher grade capacitors.  There's little else to say really, the audio solution is fine. I do miss optical out on the rear IO though.

And that would be the 8-pin connector to power that processor of yours, the motherboard has a 6 phase power delivery design for the processor based on digital power controllers. And below a couple of photos of the motherboard powered on, a few more for the RGB aficionados.
