The GeForce RTX 4080 has a proper 16 Gigabytes of GDDR6X memory that works at a strange data rate of 22.4 Gbps offering 717 GB/sec of memory bandwidth. ASUS has designed an astonishing new appearance for their GeForce 40 STRIX Series graphics card.

The main cooler shroud and the backplate are both composed of heavy metal. While the backplate is black with silvery highlights, the front has gradients of blue and red that look wild. As you shift your viewing angle on the card, the colours change subtly.

Two fan headers near the rear of the card run the linked fans at the same speed as the GPU fans, including fan stop. This makes controlling the case fans based on graphics card temperature an ideal option.

The founder edition is three slots thick, this one eats four of them.  The ADA series will replace the Ampere lineup, which will be phased out of the market as these cards are priced similarly but are significantly quicker. GeForce RTX 3080 Ti was equipped with 10240 stream/Shader processors, and the GeForce RTX 4080 kicks in at 9728 shading cores whilst being totally faster.
