Let us begin our examination of the ASRock Z590 Phantom Gaming ITX TB4 motherboard by examining its packaging and components. The motherboard arrived in a standard ASRock box that is compact and modest, just like a mini-ITX enclosure should be. A large logo of Phantom Gaming is shown on the front, along with the board's name. The upper-left corner of the box has the ASRock logo, while the bottom features the product's important characteristics. The motherboard is packaged with additional components and accessories. These comprise an instructional booklet, postcards, a tutorial for setting up the software, and a driver's disc. Additionally, a SATA data cable, Velcro cable straps, a WiFi antenna, and M.2 screws for the SSDs are included.

According to the features of the Phantom Gaming ITX TB4  appears to offer two M.2 storage options available on this board. Thunderbolt4 technology upgrades the most sophisticated USB-C connector's speed and adaptability. This function enables the motherboard to provide simple and rapid communication. It doubles data transfer speeds and connects up to five Thunderbolt devices with a single cable.

The board design is excellent btw. Nice aesthetics and loads of options. The Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4 motherboard adopts a 10 + 1 + 1 phase 105A SPS digital power supply design and supports 2 sets of M.2 NVMe SSD configuration, 1 set of Thunderbolt 4 ports, Killer 2.5G LAN wired network with game network optimization function and Killer Wi-Fi 6E wireless network module are added, which are very rich in functions.

The Mini-ITX Form Factor specification has a size of 17.0cm X 17.0cm. It uses all black as the main color and adds a little red color scheme. It is a very classic game theme style. ASROCK Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4 motherboard utilizes 10 phases (105A SPS) dedicated to CPU vCore power supply, 1 phase dedicated to VCCGT power supply, and 1 phase dedicated to VCCGT power supply. VCCAUX power supplies eliminate the phase doubler chip entirely, resulting in lower voltage ripple. The motherboard features a Renesas RAA229131 up to 20-phase PWM controller, dual-channel independent output configuration, and 10+1-phase mode for directly driving a 10-phase CPU vCore power supply and a 1-phase VCCGT power supply. With ten sets of Renesas RAA2201040 105A SPS DrMOS chips equipped with the latest Smart Power Stage technology.
