VRM - voltage regulator module
VRM - voltage regulator module
Regarding the VRMs, you’ll find a nice package here. This setup should be enough for CPUs like the i9 10850/10900K and the i9 11900K. The configuration of VCORE+VCCGT+VCCSA+VCCIO is the following: 12+2+1+2

The Vcore controller is the Renesas Intersil ISL69269 which gives 12 phases. The Vcore MOSFETS (12*ISL99390B) deliver 90A = 1080A. The VCore doubler consists of 6*ISL6617A. For the VCCGT - the controller is the same (ISL69269), but there are 2 ISL99360 MOSFETS 60A = 120A. For the VCCSA - the controller is the one and only SIC654A 50A.
The radiators for the VRMs are very solid and weigh adequately. There is a 40 mm fan used in the radiator on the left side of the socket. Additionally, you can mount a 30/40 mm on the radiator closer to the RAM sockets. You can also see the two 8-pin EPS connectors.
They should do their purpose well enough (which we’ll check later), based on the motherboard’s looks and weight.
